
Amy Turnbull is an artist and an educator. She draws on neurology and psychology to understand how we perceive and process visual information. Turnbull holds an MFA in Craft from the Oregon School of Art and Craft. She earned an MAT with a focus in Art Education from Lewis and Clark College, and a BA in Anthropology from Stanford University. Turnbull was a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Graduate School of Education and Counseling at Lewis and Clark College. Turnbull’s artwork is on display in July this year at the Seattle Art Fair and will be featured in an upcoming edition of the Buckman Journal. She is represented by Blackfish Gallery and her show entitled May All Your Little Plants Take Root and Thrive will be exhibited in August.
